Y'all Ready For Some YUM?

I can't even begin to tell you how much I {puffy heart} love having a freezer stocked with entrees that I know my family will love AND which requires minimal effort from me. SCORE! Martha would agree -- it's a good thing.

This week's entrees are

* Million Dollar Spaghetti *
* Huli Huli Chicken *
* Doritos Taco Bake *
* Skinny Parmesan Chicken Bake *
* Meatloaf *

Million Dollar Spaghetti

The perfect combination of al dente spaghetti pasta, seasoned ground beef, rich tomato sauce and a cream cheese mixture perfectly blended with Italian seasonings.  This is always a crowd pleaser! Serve with salad and garlic bread.

Huli Huli Chicken

Back by popular demand, this mouth-watering Hawaiian chicken dish is so much more than a teriyaki marinade -- it's a piece of history.  "Huli" is Hawaiian for "turn".  The founder of this recipe used to cook enormous batches of this island famous and much craved marinaded chicken between two metal grates which he would shout "HULI" to his assistant before they would turn them all.  Voila -- Huli Huli chicken was born!  This dish is best on the grill but is easily adaptable for your slow cooker.  Serve with a sprinkle of freshly chopped green onions, a side of sticky rice and pineapple (grill this right alongside your chicken for some authentic Hawaiian noms!)

Doritos Taco Bake

Ground beef seasoned with a delicious Mexican blend of spices and Rotel tomatoes and green chilies then placed atop a flaky crust.  Next comes a combination of creamy sour cream and cheesy goodness which is then topped with a layer of crushed Doritos.  Thaw this bad boy and toss it in the oven for a crunchy, cheesy bowl of Mexican goodness.  Want to make it a complete layered layered taco salad?  As you're plating this dish, top each serving with shredded lettuce, fresh tomatoes and maybe a little salsa.

Light Parmesan Chicken Bake

We have taken one of the most delicious Italian meals and lightened it up.  Rather than pan fry chicken breasts, we use perfectly seasoned chicken breast halves covered with a zesty marinara sauce which are then layered with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses before being sprinkled with an Italian bread crumb mixture (we heard you guys asking for low carb!!) Also in the mix is some melty, smooth mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses which are baked to perfection.  Hearty, filling, saucy, cheesy -- you'll want to scream "Mamma Mia!" it's so good!  If you're not on the low-carb train, pair this with a hearty serving of angel hair pasta topped with a few spoonfuls of really good quality marinara sauce (you know, the kind from the bottle next to the noodles on the pasta aisle?) for a total overload of Italian indulgence.

Meatloaf

The ultimate comfort food.  Satisfy your soul with this delicious and hearty, traditional entree. Over two pounds of perfectly seasoned beef, now served ready to thaw and cook in its own loaf pan.  This is a family pleasing meal that can easily (and SHOULD) be accompanied with the traditional side of mashed potatoes or even macaroni and cheese. That will win over any meat-and-potatoes lover.  You could also add a side of broiled Brussel sprouts to add a little color to your plate.  Either way, this dinner is a winner! (See what I did there?)
