Attention! Attention!

The Easter holiday has come and gone.

He is Risen and we celebrate Him every day...

...and while we have enjoyed the week of rest, ladies and gents, we are back at it!  The new menu is live and next week is going to be, in a word, DELICIOUS!

Orders placed by Sunday, April 23 by 8 pm will be prepared and ready for pick up Thursday, April 27 Saturday, April 30. Please note that orders are due no later than 8:00 pm on Sunday. The order form will be deactivated once we have reached capacity or by 8:00 pm (whichever comes sooner). If you miss the deadline, have no fear as we generally do work extras into our preparations so there will likely be inventory available for purchase.

This weeks' SEVEN delicious, mouth-watering entrees are:

* Hobo Burger Grill Packs *

Ready to take your cooking outside on the grill? Awesome -- these are perfect for that!  NOT ready to take it outside just yet?  Good - these are perfect for that too! Seasoned ground beef patties topped with potatoes and veggies. Each foil pack is its own little self contained meal. Ever been camping? These are FANTASTIC for that!  Haven't been camping? The hard part is over -- we've got your dinner covered so get out there!

* Slow Cooker Santa Fe Chicken *

Chicken breasts slow cooked then shredded in your crock pot with corn, tomatoes and black beans - very flavorful and healthy.  Best served in a bowl over rice though they could easily be wrapped in heated flour tortillas with some fresh guacamole, shredded lettuce and a handful of cheese. Enhance this Southwest slow cooker meal with some creamy sour cream, freshly chopped cilantro, diced green onions or a big handful of Monterrey Jack cheese.

* Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin *

Two gently seasoned juicy pork tenderloin wrapped with bacon strips just waiting to be baked to a crispy perfection.  These are fantastic served with some scalloped potatoes or paired with delicious, buttery cinnamon apples slow cooked in your crock pot!  Want the recipe for the cinnamon apples?  Like us on Facebook!  It was shared there.

* Tuscan Pasta *

Chunks of tender chicken breast and bowtie pasta covered in a creamy, garlic-infused, homemade Parmesan sauce. Sun-dried tomatoes give a the little punch of color and an enhanced flavor to knock this dish right over the top!  Serve with a Caesar salad and some crispy garlic bread, pour a glass of wine because -- dinner is DONE!  So, kick back and enjoy your evening!  Salut!

* The Ultimate Marinated Chicken *

The secret to this being a definite unbelievable awesome ultimate amazing chicken meal is in the magic of this marinade!  Juicy chicken breasts are soaked in this deliciousness ready to be baked, slow cooked or (and I would highly suggest) grilled.  A hint of brown sugary sweetness, the tartness of citrus with a dash of this...and a smidge of that... I'm telling you, THIS will be your go-to for all things chicken!  Serve with a heaping helping of buttery mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini spears.

* Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole *

You don't have to wait for December to receive the gift of not having to wake up early to make breakfast for your crew!  One of our customer favorites is this cheesy egg-based sausage combination baked with cubed bread and a handful of seasonings. It's a great thaw and bake meal.  After all, who says that you can only eat breakfast in the morning?  We LOVE breakfast for dinner!  However, for those of you that want to serve it for breakfast -- no hard feelings! It completely takes the work out of getting out the door in the morning.  Okay, not really... but it sounds good. Right? We all know that someone's inevitably going to forget to brush their fangs, can't find their shoes, their brush, their phone, their earbuds, their backpack, their snack.  Wait..what were talking about? Oh yes, our wonderful little angels who LIVE to make our lives run smoothly in the morning.  Breakfast -- don't let them leave home without it!

* Slow Cooker Mexican Brisket *

Deliciously moist slow cooker Mexican brisket is simmered with chiles and spices making it so easy to shred which means it is PERFECT for making tacos, nachos, burritos, or even salads! This is truly an anchor for your dinner table. I do believe I have professed my love of all things south of the border and this, my friends, is no exception.  Tacos are truly one of my love languages. Serve some of this delicious brisket on warm corn tortillas topped with a sprinkling of diced onion along with fresh and fragrant cilantro leaves... folks... don't quote me on this but, you just might hear the angelic chorus triumphantly ring out as the clouds part and the light of our Lord and Savior shines down upon your face and tells you personally, "Yes... my child. This IS what Heaven is truly like."  Okay, that's a total lie, but... regardless of my unhealthy obsession with tacos... it's pretty darn good, just sayin'. Oh, and if that does happen however, I claim the book and movie rights.

Delayed But Still Delicious

This week was SO busy but in a good way.  Unfortunately, we were a little delayed in publishing the menu for this week but we are making up for it with a healthy dose of DELICIOUSNESS!

Orders placed by Sunday, April 9 by 6 pm will be prepared and ready for pick up Thursday, April 13 - Saturday, April 15. Please note that orders are due no later than 6:00 pm on Sunday. The order form will be deactivated once we have reached capacity or by 6:00 pm (whichever comes sooner). If you miss the deadline, have no fear as we generally do work extras into our preparations so there will likely be inventory available for purchase.

Please note, too, the kitchen will be CLOSED the week after Easter (April 17-21) so now is definitely a great time to stock up or order from inventory.

This week's entrees are:

* Chicken & Rice Bake *
Comfort food pure and simple.  Chicken breasts nestled in rice that's baked in a creamy sauce with an onion seasoned  topping.  This is fantastic with a bag of steamed veggies straight from the microwave to round it out and keep you out of the kitchen for the night.

* Chicken Bacon Ranch Foil Packs *
I don't know about you but warmer weather screams "grill food" to me.  The beauty of this entree is that it can be cooked in either the oven OR on the grill. How's that for versatile?  Each foil pack will have a seasoned boneless, skinless chicken breast halve wrapped in foil and topped with broccoli, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and the perfect hint of ranch.  These bad boys are wrapped up tight into a shiny little package of yum that would make anyone a happy camper.  Oh, and, by the way, if you just so happen to BE a camper, these are BOSS on your charcoals!  After a day spent hiking, fishing or just chasing little kids around the campsite, these are like fine dining for your evening vittles.  Ask me how I know! Want to be the winner at your campsite?  Bring THESE!

* Million Dollar Spaghetti *
The perfect combination of al dente spaghetti pasta, seasoned ground beef, rich tomato sauce and a cream cheese mixture perfectly blended with Italian seasonings.  This is always a crowd pleaser! Serve with salad and garlic bread.

* Chicken Cacciatore *
This delicious, light and healthy Italian meal is perfect baked in the oven, slow cooked in your crock pot or even simmered on the stove in a Dutch oven.  Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are paired with mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion along with a perfect blend of garlic, Italian spices and a rich tomato sauce that has just a hint of white wine. Served over a side of your family's favorite al dente pasta and you have a scrumptious meal worthy of the accolades you'll receive. You could even pair this delicious feast with some crispy baked rolls (because we aren't counting carbs in our descriptions) and maybe even a Caesar salad... because the calories in croutons only exist if you count them.  Count ME in for a food coma! Plus, isn't it just fun to say?  Cacciatore.... cacciatore.... Sorry, I can't talk right now, I am about to enter into a Caesar sized severe case of the carb counting cacciatore coma.  Buon appetito!

* Lemon & Onion Sweet & Sour Pork Chops *
Pork chops baked with a thin slice of lemon, a thin slice of onion and then topped with a homemade sweet & sour sauce which are then baked to perfection. As it bakes, the sauce it renders is a FANTASTIC gravy base.  Which leads me to suggest that you should make some mashed potatoes because what else goes better with gravy than mashed potatoes?  Oh.... You should probably add something green... like some garlicky lemon Parmesan baked brussels sprouts? Yes, I think I'll have some of that. Please. Thank you.
